“Carrie” has finally found her mom.
Julianne Moore is going to portray the creepy mother in the remake of
the classical 1976 movie that Screen Gems and MGM producing. In the
original, Piper Laurie was playing the role of Margaret White, while
Sissy Spacek was Carrie.
Gabrielle Wilde of “The Three
Musketeers” has also been cast as Sue Snell. In the leading role of
Carrie we find the talented Chloe Moretz.
The director Kimberly Pierce (Boy's
Don't Cry) has taken on the project and the script is by Roberto
Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee, Big Love).
